really liked it

In many of the James Bond novels by Ian Fleming, the characters are not fully drawn out. This book does a better job than most of works in the series. James Bond develops a romantic relationship--far more complete and touching than with most other women linked to him in the series--with Tracy. The key strand, though, in this story is Bond's hunt for the ever unplesant and dangerous Ernst Stavro Blofeld, head of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. By the end, the strands do come together, making this one of the more touching works in the James Bond library.
