it was amazing
bookshelves: adult-nonfiction
Recommended for: science and history fans
Read in July, 2003

Bryson is the bomb, plain and simple... In a departure from his usual travelogues, Bryson explores the history of scientific discovery and gives readers a primer on all of the major theories and schools of thought which form the foundation of science.

I loved learning the back stories on so many famous scientists. I never knew what a crackpot Isaac Newton was!
