This book is about the people in Hiroshima now, and how the bomb continues to affect families and townspeople. The stories are told via a different young woman's perspective, and the images are really stunning and sometimes so simple. There are panels that are just still and haunting. The book is really effective at showing the continual damage of the bomb now, and also the ways that the people in and around Hiroshima persevere and also how their lives have had to adjust and change.
