Betty Davis an excellent actress but a pain to work with. Lots of terrible things happened in Betty's life. She made a great sum of money for that time but had nothing to show for it because of her mothers spending and her adpoted daughter daughter who needed alot of special treatments. According to this book Joan Crawford tried to hit on Betty.

01/13/2011 page 239 "It was Betty's second husband that died, Farnsworth, and it was not the fall at her place that did it. He was caught with another woman. Joan Crawford was a lesbia, who "had for years nourished a secret desire for Bette." That must have been the start of the bad times between them."

Raelene Only two stars? Not written well?

Violet yep only two stars. It maybe could have been better. Let's put it this way, it seemed like a long read.
