Whisper on the Wind (The Great War, #2)

I enjoyed this book very much, especially since I enjoy historical novels.
It was different that this was a book about World War I. A lot of books out there are about World War II, so I liked the change.
I found the characters interesting and three dimensional. There are a few parts that keep you on edge, even with knowing the end of the war, you find yourself wondering about how everything will end.
I found that I want to continue to read the series.
I read this novel first, so I will go back and read #1. But this novel held its own without having read the first.
