Though there are some major plot developments in the overall arc, this is probably the weakest of the three simply because there are so many major plot developments smashed together in the one book. And though on the one hand, I can appreciate an author who doesn't drag out plot developments forever, it does feel as though Harrison tried to bite off too much and the book suffered for it.

Suffered is a relative term, though. While not her best effort, Harrison still kept me engaged as a reader and interested in the outcome of the various plots. Her worst is quite a lot better than some author's best.
