I'm a huge Kristin Hannah fan, i think a large part has to do with her characters and the relationships that you as the reader develops with them. I loved this book! I couldn't put it down, and fell inlove with the story right away. A young girl who is raised be wolves after being kidnapped, turns up in a small town one day. Luckily, the chief of polices sister is a famed psychologist. The relationship that develops between Alice and Julia had me from the beginning. How Julia thought she was helping Alice come back into society and protecting her from the doctors who would only use her to further their careers was wonderful. I loved that Alice in turn, teaches Julia to be a mother, and the loves taht defines ad mother and child develops. I bawled my eyes out when i read the last few pages because i kept thinking that this wonderful story couldn't have an ending like this. The Hannah always surprises us, and made me smile while reading the last paragraph
