bookshelves: fantasy, chapter-books-ya, for-book-club, i-recommend
Read in January, 2012

I am usually skeptical of futuristic dystopias, but this one was recommended to me so often I had to read it. I ended up finishing it in less than 24 hours and am on the hunt for the next one! I'm not sure why it was so compelling, but I definitely liked it. A good book club possibility.

Kacee I am often skeptical too, but I really enjoyed this series also.

Carey I have all three. Our book club did a series night on this series, discussing it as a whole.
