Not as interesting as "A Wrinkle in Time," this book seemed to lag. L'Engle's style was a bit less accessible and the subject was more abstract. Still, cellular structure at the mitochondrial level was introduced and a strong theme of interconnectedness pervades the story — something everyone should learn.
