I am going to start reading Wambaugh's other books now, because I enjoyed reading Hollywood Hills so much. It's got everything: realism, good plotting, believable dialogue, and good pacing. He manages to pull the different threads and characters in the story together without straining. The main stories are those of a butler and an art dealer devising a devious plan interwoven with a drug-addled young couple with plans of their own.
