Why did I even bother to finish this book? I'd like to think it was a combination of stupidity and insane boredom from staying at a hospital with my mom for hours with only this book at hand. The beginning was ok... I really loved the transition from Brooklyn to Indiana. I could really understand the frustrations after my own move just recently. I really couldn't stand Viola at the end though, her brattiness and arrogance were just mind-numbingly aggravating. The boy character was interesting, but turned out to be an asshole bitch in the end, leaving Viola alone with her grandmother and new friends. Oh yeah, and what was the deal with that girls crush on her roommates brother? Pointless. The conversations were just... UGH. Terribly dry, lacking character. Her tense relationship with her BFFAA Andrew wasn't exactly resolved either. Her parents never came home... terrible book. I only read it about 2 weeks ago and the ending was so terrible that I don't even remember it.

So...as you can tell, it really put an impact on me. :/
