I am not that familiar with Greek Mythology beyond the basics. I found this to be an interesting listen and enjoyed the feminist take on events, though like some other reviewers have mentioned the endless whining about Penelope's cousin, Helen of Troy, was a little much at times (though I supposed if she was as beautiful as was claimed perhaps this is the expected response). I appreciated the length of this story - I would have finished it a lot quicker if I had not kept falling asleep and losing track (indicative of a spell of poor health and a cozy bed rather than the book itself). The chorus device was well used on the audio version - it was the little details like this that I enjoyed the most.
