it was ok

** spoiler alert ** As always, it's a little confusing to keep track of all the characters, so I'll be glad to see Shoe Box Theater perform it on New Year's Day. I think the confusion is the point, though.
All right, the ending. It's the Shakespearean version of (pardon the language) "bros before hos". It was interesting to see the commentary afterwards try to make any sense of the ending. "Maybe Shakespeare wrote that as... satire?"
I've also started forming a theory that Shakespeare likes cross-dressing women because it allows them to participate as initiative-takers in a male-dominated society. Clothes make the man... from a woman.
