Recent book on the Cuban Missile Crisis that makes good use of newer information. There was much going on that might agitate the situation. The book feels a little "busy" at times but I think that's part of the author's point. Well written.
The events of this book repeatedly made me think about the events that started World War I, to the point where I felt motivated to move "Guns Of August" up near the top of my To Read list. Perhaps not coincidentally, the author eventually mentions that book as having come out not long before the Cuban Crisis and that JFK read it and though highly of it.
