This should be popular to those who like "The Art of Racing in the Rain" and "A Dog's Purpose." Susan Wilson writes a great story of a man, Adam, who falls from the upper echelon's of corporate power to being one step above homelessness, and an escaped former fighting Pit Bull named Chance. The POV switches from the Chance to Adam, and both characters are fleshed out perfectly. As you read the story, you are drawn into their lives, understanding their choices, mistakes and truly caring for the characters.
