Three men, fascinated by conspiracy theories surrounding secret societies, make a game out of creating the ultimate theory that will link all of the secret societies into one conspiracy, from the Templars to the Masons. What starts as a game turns deadly real, as the line between reality and fantasy becomes blurred.
Since I've always been interested in secret societies, I found this novel fascinating, and I was delighted by the inventiveness of the characters (and thus the author), even as it reinforced the what I've always known -- you can make anything into a conspiracy, if you so desire.
