In the Dark of the Night
by John Saul
by John Saul
This is my 3rd John Saul book so far. It has a very interesting set-up about a family moving into a house that once housed a some sort of murderer named Dr. Darby who collected antiques from serial killers. Nearby lives one of Darby's assisstants or accomplices who constantly spies on the family.
While the story is very interesting, I felt that it could've had a bit more on the scary side. I felt that the aminosity between Eric and Adam didn't have much significance in the main storyline. I think that there needed to be somewhat more of an explanation about some of the events in the book.
