It's funny... I found the main character deplorable and the writing extremely mediocre, yet I could not put this book down! Maybe because it's a roman a clef by blogger Jessica Cutler, who went down in flames after she was found using Senate computers in "unacceptable ways." And maybe it's because I'll always feel like Washington is "my" city even though I don't live there anymore. So, while I can't recommend it because the main character sucks, if you are looking for a very, very fast and scandalous read for the pool, this might do the trick. I weirdly liked and hated the book at the same time, I think that's what saved it from being 1 star!
