Read in October, 2006 — I own a copy

Read this one on recommendation from Maestro of Ring of Steel. A lot of very cool discussions of how humans are naturally very adept at assessing threats if we just pay attention to our gut instincts. I don't buy into everything he says (such as dogs being such "good" judges of character because they are taking unconscious cues from their owner, not because of their own assessment), and I remember it being a little too overconfident (it's been awhile since I read it). But it is a fascinating read and I definitely recommend it.
