bookshelves: angels, romance, vampires, ya
Read from December 23 to 27, 2010

Well, i read it without feeling absolutely nothing, i guess mostly because there is a reason why it is important to create people for a book who your readers can love and who you'd want to get to know more, but this one was a real dud on that front. They are self-absorbed, vapid, moody, stupid and ignorant lot. There might have been revelations in the end, but they were not very surprising. Romance wise, well there wasn't much romance at all. Just some hormones needing their due no matter the consequences. All that angels of death and destruction ground work under the layer of oh my gosh im a Barbie idiot from Mimi, and Schuyler being blabbering airhead and completely ignorant about everything around her. Bliss, being the devils playground that she is, manages to evoke a smidgen of pity, but same time shes incredibly dimwitted as well. Poor Dylan is all i can say. You chose the wrong girl.
