really liked it

It seems at times melodrama is mistaken as drama. Histrionics is seen as art rather than madness. Ishiguro doesn't waste time with wild gesturing but asks us to listen carefully to the subtlety his music requires.

Like music that moves and sustains you, Nocturnes presents a voice that engages and understands the material. A hope here for Allegro styled pyrotechnics is to miss the point.
