Just got book today (12/23/10.Received book as part of a marketing campaign for the American translation of THE DEVOTION OF SUSPECT X, by Keigo Higashino.
This book can easily fit in any of these genres, psycological, suspense, mystery, and thriller.
I think it gave me a good insight into Japanese philosophy.
Ishigami a math teacher became infactuated with his next door neigbors Yasuko and her daughter. Yasuko's troublesome ex-husband re-appears and Ishigami comes to the rescue.
This starts a fantastic suspensful story of twist and turns.
I started this book and looked up after two hours and was more than half way through. I throughly enjoyed this book. The ending surprized me and had me crying.
