Hill is consistently good. In this one our hero is framed for several crimes he didn't commit and ends up losing his his fortune, his wife, and one eye. But he doesn't give up. Set in Cumbria in the northwest of England, an area I hadn't really been aware of before, one that is surprisingly wild and rugged, an area that has molded the character or several of our key players.
