Read from December 22 to 31, 2010

This was a very compelling account of the assassination of President Kennedy told through the perspective of his Secret Service detail. I thought the book was well written and very moving.

If you are looking for salacious Kennedy account detailing JFK's liaisons, this isn't the book for you. Jerry Blaine wanted there to be an accurate account of what happened by those who were there and experienced it first hand. I was most drawn to the accounts of Clint Hill who was Jacqueline Kennedy's agent and who is now the sole survivor of those riding in the President's limousine.

Lisa McCubbin Thanks, Janel. Clint Hill and I are currently writing the story of his dramatic four years with Jacqueline Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy and Me will be published April 2012. Check us out on Facebook.

Janel Thanks for the heads up, Lisa. I'll be looking out for your and Mr. Hill's book. I look forward to reading it.

Janel Lisa, I downloaded your new book with Mr. Hill. I'm quite frankly devouring it and catching Mr. Hill's many interviews this week. I'm really enjoying it.

Lisa McCubbin Thanks! Please spread the word. To have this be a best seller would maje Mr. Hill feel so good about his decision to finally wrote a book. Can you believe he said to me...I don't think I have enough material to write a whole book!

Janel I will spread the word. No, I don't believe Mr. Hill thought he didn't have enough material for a whole book! I just finished. It was an excellent and touching book.
