it was amazing
bookshelves: my-favorites, memoir, biography, read-2011, non-fiction

This book isn't perfect, but the author's sheer audacity at trying to combine anthropology, physiology, nutrition, travel-writing, archaeology and sheer story-telling is worth 5 stars because he mostly succeeds at it all!
Even if you're not a runner, this is worth picking up simply because of the characters who populate it.
I feel blessed that I got to read it, and I'm convinced: we were born to run.
