really liked it
bookshelves: library, drama, women-s-fiction, 2012
Read from April 03 to 07, 2012

More like 4 1/2 stars.....I mean, how can you resist a book whose opening line is "I am the head cookie bitch and this is my party"? I knew from the start I would love this book. Any book with strong women and strong friendships is good as far as I'm concerned. I liked that there were both happy & sad stories in the womens' lives. It made it more realistic.

The only thing keeping it from getting five stars was the cast of characters. I think they all played an important part in the story, but in the beginning it was hard to keep them all straight. Towards the end, it got a little sappy, but all in all a really good book.

I recommend this one to anyone that enjoys women's fiction with a touch of drama. Okay, enough.....I am off to organize my own Christmas Cookie Club for this holiday season!
