I haven't read a lot of philosophy, so it took me a while to get caught up on the discussion. Kierkegaard constantly refers to Kant and sometimes agrees, sometimes refustes what he says. So to really enter the conversation, you have to get to know Kant. Other than that, the language itself was pretty difficult, again because I am not familiar with all the philosophy lingo. But if you put in the time to figure out the jargon, it's fascinating. It's worth the effort, but if you are unfamiliar with philosophy (like I am) it's going to be a bit of a chore to get through.
