I read this book years ago. We really worked to budget using this plan. I really do spend with more control when I use cash. The stress of using a debit card is so much higher than just using cash. With the card you have to keep track of everything--okay if you're super good at doing that daily, but I'm not. With cash--when it is gone it's gone and you don't have to figure it out later. Using cash again and the stress is so much less--totally worth it.
