Thanks for the headsup but I don't really need to read a book to be terrified out of wanting a kid. Ain't gonna happen!
I am curious about the precautions section because it sounds totally outlandish.

recommended for: People who like a lot of information and are not easily frightened

Okay, so if you never, ever, ever want to have a baby, read this book because it will terrify you out of ever trying to get pregnant. It covers every possible worst case scenario and all the common sense parts of being pregnant. There's some useful information, but you have sort through "don't smoke pot" and all sorts of other long answers to short questions to get there.
Granted, the book is very in-depth, and if you have any possible concern on your pregnancy, it's in there. There's even a section on precautions to take during oral sex because if you're not careful mom and baby could DIE. No, I'm not joking.
My husband didn't find the section for fathers helpful at all. (He suspects a woman wrote it and says his answers to the same questions would be very, very different.)
It is handy to have on a shelf to pull down if a random concern comes up. (Although I got through my second baby without a copy handy and didn't miss it!) So if someone gives it to you, sk...more
