This is an amazing book. This booked thought me the origins of many key parts of the United States constitution. This book also showed a theme of humanity by presenting anecdotes of various delegates that were present at the constitutional convention. This allowed me to see the delegates as common citizens instead of demi-god’s as portrayed by society. The book also shows a theme of equality, it discusses how delegates debated over equality from State equality to race equality. This book is also great because it further explains the purpose and origin of the constitution that holds this nation together till this day. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to further expand their knowledge on the United States constitution.
