Read from December 19 to 20, 2010

I was really really really hoping that this one wouldn't be as predictable as the first book of the series, but it was, almost from the very beginning. There were a couple of twists, but it always came back to the glaringly obvious. For that I'm dissappointed.
I don't really know what else to say besides the story was predictable, the writing was just par, and there were a few characters that were quite too far out there.
Also worth noting that the relationship between Harper and Tolliver continued to be weird. I was hoping to get that cleared up, but I do believe it just got weirder.
I already own An Ice Cold Grave, so I'll read it, but it's not looking like I'll buy Grave Secret. I had hoped to read the Aurora Teagarden series but I'm not sure that I want to now. I was not overly fond of the writing of the Sookie series, but I got used to it and figured it was just how Harris wrote Sookie, but then I read this series and saw that no, that's just how she writes and it bugs me. I'm not sure exactly why, but it does. If the Teagarden series is written in the same manner then I'm not going to even bother trying it.
