This is a well-written book and an entertaining read. I did not enjoy it as much as "To Say Nothing of the Dog," but much of the premise is the same: Time travel is tricky. This had some lovely moments, but I felt at points that the pacing was slow. The tension never let up, but I felt Willis gave the reader some very broad hints about the resolution of the book. I figured out what was going on chapters before the characters (and I'm not especially bright at that kind of thing), and that always gets a bit frustrating. But it is engaging and well worth a read.
