Ah, England. Someday I will tramp across your misty hills in the rain. Bryson, I am jealous of you and your weeks of following your traveling whims.

Notes from a small island made me want to quit my job and take whatever job is available at the University of Durham. Or anywhere else on the island.

Maybe we'll eventually be able to save up enough vacation time and money to be able to go there for a couple of weeks. That's about all I can hope for at the present. But thanks to Bryson's book, I have a small feel for what I am missing. Thanks a load, Bryson.

Jessica It's still painful if you've been there.
