Caitlyn doesn’t feel like she fits in at her high school in Oregon. She has all these nightmares about “screechers” and things that happen in the past that are so vivid she has a hard time distinguishing between dreams and reality. Plus those at school call her “moan and groan.” So when an opportunity comes around to go to a boarding school in France, she jumps at the chance. But things are not all as they seem at the boarding school. Headmistress Snowe seems to know more about Caitlyn than even Caitlyn knows about herself. And the headmistress wants something from Caitlyn…and Caitlyn isn’t sure if she should go along with Madame Snowe and her plans. Not to mention that once Caitlyn is in France she starts dreaming about a 19-year-old named Raphael who lived 400 years before. And Caitlyn is starting to fall in love with him. Can Caitlyn figure out the secrets of the school, do what Madame Snowe wants, and find a way to stay with her true love? She isn’t even sure she can pass French class…

This is a fun paranormal romance with a twist of history and a possible family of witches with supernatural powers. Caitlyn is totally unsure of herself and what is happening in her life, but she is determined to try to figure out just where she belongs…even if it is in the past. Of course it all seems a bit far-fetched, but those readers who are willing to suspend disbelief will undoubtedly be happy to find out how a ghost and a girl can find out all the secrets to the world.
