In the book always runnig la vida loca gang days in LA, the auther talks about how he got into the gangs whe he was just a samll boy. He coments that he has been around death since he was 12 years old. He tells about how he was in between a war the Sangras vs The Lomas. how he would like to get out of that life but every time he got a litle bit away from that life he always seemed to get pulled back into that life. He tells of how he killed to save his own life. One of the things that gets luis away from that the was school but as soon as he was thrown in jail he forgot about school and whent back into the gang life.

I thought this book was vary inspioring. It relly makes u think about how easy you have it.It takes a lot of guts to write a book and admite to some of the stuff that luis did. this book is vary admirable it shows that with heart and courage enething is posible, it does not matter wher you come from. It was vary intriginh to read about how luis joins gangs and what he is capable of. the book is rather confusing at some points because rather than talking about his life straight forward he gets side tracked and talks about flash backs. tjis book realets to me because my grandfather was n the gangs in juarez in the 60's. he tells me things that are vary similar to the things that luis talks about in his book.

Estefania I also think this book was very inspioring because it talks about how Luis changed his life around to become a bad person. I liked how you explained what happened in the story of Always Running and describing what happened to Luis's life.
