really liked it

Martin paints a vivid portrait of the art-selling world beginning in the ranks of Sotheby's and moving out into NYC's art scene. Lacey Yaeger begins on the bottom of the pecking order, but through a series of what she might consider minor indiscretions, positions herself as a fairly successful gallery owner... until her lack of moral compass, paired with the economic downturn after 2001, bring her to a lower point than she would have imagined.
