Nothing much I can add to what has already been written countless times over.
The best doomed love story ever put to paper.

The tortured soul of Heathcliff trancends mere love into insatiable
obsession for Cathy . Desire, turns to despair into near insanity.

The unattainable Cathy is all he ever wanted, and therein lies the
tragedy of thwarted longing and lost opportunity.
The books ending though is the ultimate in hope for eternal love.

Probably, the best classic of them all. To go through life and never
read this book at least once, would be as tragic as Cathy and
Heathcliff's unfulfilled lost love.
