Read in December, 2010

My edition is the original 1895, and this is the second time I have read it. The book is short and profound, the descriptions by Henry Van Dyke of Artaban's travels are colorful and precise. The book's story and message are timeless.

Susan Having just reread this book for the third time, I may make this an annual event. Artaban, the seeker, finds the King finally when he closes his eyes as an old man passing from his life of seeking. Still a good read third time around.
