I don't often read novels, and when a friend of mine loaned me his copy of Robbins' book, I was (at first)hesitant. I was surprised.
Robbins offers the reader an interesting if not twisted little story about anarchy, religion, individualism, atheism, and superstitions all wrapped up in...one man. The book reads like a mix of Kurt Vonnegut and....
The style is easily accessible, sections being short enough to read one (if time is short), or a few over a cup of coffee or two. A book that will make you turn off the TV. That is reason enough to read it!
