Just when I thought I was making progress in the unknown stratosphere called fashion, I read Tim Gunn and quickly realize that not only do I not know fashion, I also don't know a lot of words in the English language.

For example, the carriage example. (WTH is a carriage? Apparently it is ones posture--your grace, the way you position your body, your elegance).

However, stretching oneself is one of the many joys of reading. Actually, the authors do provide a glossary in the back of the book, but I feel like my "place" in style is so beneath this book, that it really makes no difference.

I'm learning, and this is actually a great place to start. I love the humor and the truthfulness of this book

(If you are ever invited to a royal wedding and need instructions on how to dress, please email us. . .love it!!!)

I especially appreciate the attention to being true to oneself and the importance of grace and being comfortable. I definite must read for those who need direction in style.
