** spoiler alert ** This is a fast pace book about Darren Shan who has to go through the ‘Trials of Death’ to prove that he is worthy of being a vampire. There are consequences to this book though and that is that if he fails he could be sent to death, or he could not do them and Darren and Mr.Crepsley would be banished from Vampire Mountain and could not return. Of course Darren picks to go on through the trials not knowing what lies ahead of him.
Darren goes through each of the trials. The trials he is chosen to is the water trial, fire trial, and the wild bores trial. Darren faces each trial while they get harder with time. Want to find out what happens to Darren? If you wish then read this book and read the rest of the series to.
This is my favorite book out of the whole series so far. There are twists, turns, and very sad moments the vampires have to face. Darren is closer to death in each series and who knows what will happen next. Will the ‘Vampaneze’ (blood sucking vampires) return? Will the Vampaneze lord come out of the ashes? Read this amazing book and find out for yourself. And don’t forget to read the whole series because I know you won’t want to put it down.
