What an excellent book. A really great piece of fiction. I read this book because I heard they were going to make a movie of it, and I knew it was just about a boy in a boat with a tiger. What kind of movie would that be? But now that I've read the book I kept thinking of all the different ways that they might present the story in the movie.

Great book. Read it, and then tell me which of Pi's stories you believe...

Terry Earley Glad you liked it. We loved it as an audiobook on a road trip. So engaging.

I believed all of his stories. --But then, I believe everybody. Actually much more fun when you just suspend disbelief and go with it.

Too bad his second book "Beatrice and Virgil", which we had been waiting so long for was such a dud. Sophomore jinx again.
