The Lying Game (The Lying Game, #1)
by Sara Shepard (Goodreads Author)
by Sara Shepard (Goodreads Author)
What if someone had your face? What if they went missing? What if you were mistaken to live her life as your own? That is what happens to Emma, when she getts a message from Sutton, the girl with her face who ends up not turning up. Emma starts to fear for her own life as well as Sutton's. Then, a shy guy named Ethan realizes her secret. Is it a coincedence? or proof of a killer? No one is who they seem.
I have been dying to read Shepard's new series since I heard about it. I did not want to wait until I had enough money to purchase it. So, I borrowed a copy from the library. Here goes all my anicipation......
Spoiler Alert:
My 1st creepy-I-just-had-chills-moment just happened! If Sutton's dead who sent the message?
My 2nd OMG-What-the?-moment happened, when Emma getts grabbed. I do not know ow I feel about this book. I mean, I like how it is fast paced, but it gives you more questions than answers.
Hottie Alert!
Ethan seems like the perfect guy for Emma. He is poetic and loves the night sky. He is a girl's dream guy.
My 3rd are-you-serious?-that's-way-creepy-moment: Sutton is dead! It's like A all over again.
My 4th jaw-dropping-moment: Emma is strangled and left with the locket. I think that it might be Charolett.
I think that Garrett's gift is losing their virginity. I just have that funny feeling and I was right.
My 5th OMG-moment happened when I found out that all three girls were fooling around and almost killed her.
Thriller ending, but I have to say that I like the PLL series better. Emma was not really threatened and in the PLL books, I would of had like 20 shocker moments not five.

Same here. The PLL books never dragged (except for the fifth one) and they had a ton of shcoker moments. But i am excited that ABC is going to make The Lying Game a show.
I really love watching the shows. Its not the same as the books, but I still enjoy it because it has the same vibe to it. I like The Lying Game show better than the book, because more drama seems to happen than in the book.
