Antof9 I do too! I'm glad it looks interesting to you -- it's fascinating me so far. And of course, making me think I want to try this too ...

cathepsut Do you like it, is it good? I loved Prodigal Summer...

Antof9 I'm really enjoying it, but it also sort of makes me want to garden (!), so I've put it down for a month or two. I thought maybe if I read it closer to a possible planting season, I might actually plant. So far, though, I really really like it.

cathepsut This is about shopping locally and sustainability, right? Works well with my paleo diet book... ;-)

Antof9 Yes and yes! You're right :) in fact, I was just thinking I need to pick it back up!

cathepsut Well, gardening season has started, right? Time to plant all those herbs and salads... :-)

Antof9 Exactly - in Denver, the good gardeners always say not to plant until Mother's Day (US), so now that yesterday is over, we can plant at will :)

I'm planning to get some stuff this afternoon to go with the seeds I already have. EXCITING!

cathepsut Plant basil! It smells great and tastes even better. And some citronella to keep mosquitos away... :-)

Antof9 Yes! Basil is on my herbs list - I already have the seeds :) Fortunately for us, we don't have mosquitoes in Colorado (I got a lifetime of bites when I lived in North Dakota, though)!
