Maybe I never had a good attitude about this book. It was a book club book. But I really don't think that was the problem. The plot sounded like it had potential. The author clearly has writing ability. But let me just say that somebody was horny while writing this book. Or maybe has spent too much time reading Freud. Whenever he allowed his characters to grow emotionally (not vertically) he killed the sentiment by relating it once again to sex. So very one dimensional. Then he would ramble for pages about...I don't actually know because I skipped them. But the gist was scenery, "I'm horny"...winter...scenery "I'm horny". If you really want to know what happens, just give me a call. I could summarize it in a much more entertaining way & then you could go on to read something of merit. :)
