** spoiler alert ** Margaret Atwood has great powers of description and expression. She is a fabulous writer. Often I found myself savoring her sentences. I really like how the story builds and gets more complicated at the same time that we get to better know the main character. I was, however, disappointed by the ending. It was creative yet gimmicky at the same time. Overall a very fine read.

Brandice If you have read Oryx and Crake (and sequel Year of the Flood), I highly recommend. Atwood is my favorite author. :)

Thank you for the suggestion. I will have to find it. She is such a refreshing change from what I had been reading
