This is a book you will want to talk about so add it to your book club suggestion list now. Some of Eduardo Porter's chapters on pricing seemed absolutely right on to me, often with a twist I hadn't thought of. In other cases I thought he missed the point of the statistics he cited which made me eager to discuss the book with someone who had read the book to prove how right I am.

There is definitely something for everyone in here. Porter discusses the value of:
trash
leisure
health
illegal immigration
life
wives
your vote
slavery
tardiness
sperm
eggs
music
prescription drugs
illegal drugs
and MORE
