Just when the readers thought Sara Shepard’s series of Pretty Little Liars couldn’t get any better. Sara Shepard showed up again to prove the reader wrong. Perfect is a well written book based on today’s lives of teenage girls. Showing the reader that even in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, the teenage girls have twisted lives and suspenseful lies. When Aria screams out, “Oh my God!” and Emily reveals, “She’s not breathing.” these quotes leave the reader in suspense wanting to know if one of the girls is still alive. Aria Montgomery with her hopes held high that one of Aria’s friends is okay. Aria gets a text from ‘A’ saying, “She knew too much. –A”, Sara Shepard left an intense vibe towards ‘A’ from all the girls and readers. The reader will learn, if you keep your nose clean, the reader will get through life just a little easier. I do recommend this book for any readers who like to be a detective in the book trying to figure out who this ‘A’ is sending the girls the text. Also if the reader likes romance, suspenseful, dramatic, and teenage genres, Perfect will be the reader’s next favorite book. I don’t recommend young children to read Perfect, in some parts it’s not very appropriate for that type of readers age.
