I enjoy the wacky characters from the Stephanie Plum series, but this time I had a lot of fun watching Plum go through the paces as a matchmaker. Her quarry is a "relationship expert" who refuses to be brought in until her last four cases are completed before Valentine's Day.

So Stephanie starts to work to help a harried older woman find a man, to help a butcher who has a crush with the coffee baristra across the street, to help a virgin get deflowered, and to help her sister's boyfriend make it to the altar. If that isn't enough wackiness, she also dealing with a guy who somehow causes people to have hives and Diesel, who's been sent to stop the hives. (Never really understood what the Unmentionables were, sorcerors, aliens or mutants, but they were still fun)

Still, Grandma is the wackiest character, and I suppose my favorite. Still trying to be sexy in perhaps the funniest scene she discusses plastic surgery possibilities that an 80 year old woman would never consider. Funny stuff!

Plum continues to write comical books and insane situations and when you are looking for a good comic read she always manages to fit the bill.
