Sirantha Jax is the best nav-star in the history of the Corporation. Her ability to control grimspace, the dimension between time, allows starships to transit the universe in safety. Her face is the image of the Corps. But on an approach to Matins IV, her spaceship cracks up upon landing and everyone on board is killed, including her lover, Kai, and many important diplomats who are heading to a conference on deregulating the Corps. Sirantha's memory is gone; she does not remember the crash. She is rescued from the Psych ward by a band of mercenaries who have been hired to free her and bring her to a stellar outpost. Sirantha will be the head of a new type of space academy that will not be under the thumb and direction of the Farwan Corporation, that rules the known universe. Now, on the run with a bounty of her head, Sirantha must stay alive long enough to figure out why the Corps wants her dead. If you like kick-ass heroines, read this book.
